A bill authored by State Senator Lou Corerra passed minutes ago prohibiting the placement of medical marijuana dispensaries within 600 feet of any residence.
Early this month, the US Attorney General took action against the northern California city of Iselton for facilitating the growing of illegal marijuana by allowing the cultivation of same in the city for medical marijuana clinics.
If this trend holds, cities will have to seriously relook at allowing medical marijuana clinics to operate.
